Parnon Hotel

The room was very hot, and we couldn’t sleep without air conditioning. We asked for a fan but were refused. Breakfast was advertised, but there wasn’t any. The location is very close to the central square, though. For a room with neither breakfast nor air conditioning, it was too expensive.

A pleasant little find in Parnon. The place was decent and clean, with a large bathroom and good beds and bed linen.

The fireplace lounge was a lovely place to spend a quiet afternoon with coffee or wine, and the sofas were comfortable. The owner was warm, friendly, and always ready to help, giving the stay an authentic family feel. Breakfast was varied, tasty, and made with fresh ingredients and traditional flavors. Our room was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and kept very clean each day. We also loved waking up to the magnificent mountain view and the lush green Parnonas landscape. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality stood out. The comfort, warmth, and natural beauty made this a wonderful escape any time of year. We’ll definitely come back.

The kind man at reception and the hotel’s nice location were real pluses, and the rooms were clean with hot water. But for what we paid, I wasn’t blown away. It was quite expensive, though I suppose supply and demand in the area may be part of that. The soundproofing was awful. We woke at 6 because some women heading to the monastery were shouting in the hallway. We were told the radiator worked, but we tried the switches and couldn’t get it going. It was only a little chilly in the evening, so we didn’t mention it at reception. The hotel was booked by a group, and since they weren’t getting breakfast, we were told there would be none for our two days either. Maybe they would have charged the same whether we ate or not, but saving breakfast for two people didn’t feel right. They could at least have reduced the price or something.
