The staff are polite, but they could do a better job of upselling or cross-selling. The location and surroundings are perfect for a good restaurant; Nympheo needs a better one, and La Moara could be it. It's a nice place for a night or two, though the rooms feel a bit old. Breakfast is fine.
The owners and the rest of the staff provide high-quality service, and the facilities are impressive. Even in bad weather, you can enjoy the property. The place itself is an experience, set in one of Greece's most picturesque mountain villages. A good choice if you want to relax away from crowded beaches.
Thanos was a great host, and the staff gave very good service. The property is spacious, with a large garden, parking, and a breakfast area with two fireplaces. It's only a three-minute walk from the village center, but if the paths are icy, you'll need walking sticks. We really enjoyed our stay.
The owners are lovely and have fascinating stories about Nymfaio and the surrounding area. There are friendly, playful kittens in the garden, and all the rooms in the shared space make you want to sit down, rest, and enjoy the interior. I fell for the place as soon as I saw it outside, and was even more excited once I went in. The rooms are cozy, spacious, comfortable, and each has its own character. I could live there for the rest of my life.
I loved our hosts' attitude, the homemade breakfast, and the furniture. The house feels traditional yet still modern in a way that suits visitors, and there's a time-travel feeling all around. It's in a beautiful, peaceful village.
