The view is amazing, and Despina, the hostess, is even more amazing. Erisimo is right by the high street and beach, so it works well for families wanting a bit of everything as well as for individuals who want to explore. Amorgos is a great island on its own, and staying here made it even better.

We stayed in one of the new suites, with a lovely view toward the beach. The design was really pretty and had something special about it, and Anna was an amazing, welcoming host.

The owners were really kind and helpful, even with the language barrier. The room was a bit small, but perfectly fine if you’re not planning to spend hours indoors. From the sea-facing terrace you can hear the waves. Restaurants, the beach and the port are just a few minutes’ walk away, and the hospitality was warm.

The hosts at Erisimo are so welcoming and seem ready to do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable. The smart, clean rooms get fresh linen often, and the towels are changed too. Even if you forget to make the bed or wipe the dishes, they take care of it. It’s above the village with full views of the bay, beach and arriving boats, yet the best beach on Amorgos and several excellent restaurants and tavernas are only a five-minute walk away. I’ve been coming regularly for maybe 20 years and have never been disappointed.

The couple who run the place are lovely, super kind and friendly. From the accommodation there’s an amazing view of Aigiali Bay. Aigiali beach was beautiful and quiet, at least in July, with nice sand and not too many people. Just a lovely experience, thank you for everything :)
