Pano Gitonia

We stayed two nights, and this was our favorite place during our two weeks in Greece. It's beautiful, relaxing and full of charm, with an amazing view and plenty of great spots nearby. Theo was wonderful. It was also the only place we found with a refill point for water bottles. Definitely recommend!

Theo made us feel at home, and we had a wonderful time in this quiet little hotel in Potamos, just above the port of Aegiali. We stayed in Aloni, a spacious, very clean and comfortable place arranged over two floors, with a good-sized bedroom and a downstairs living area with a simple kitchen. The private double terrace was lovely for relaxing, and the views were spectacular. Rooms are wonderful. It takes about 15 minutes to walk down to Aegiali, then around 30 minutes back up a steep but well-stepped path that's well lit at night. There's also a great restaurant just a five-minute walk above the hotel. Highly recommend if you're visiting Amorgos, especially Aegiali.

We spent a few days of our honeymoon at this lovely place above Aegiali. The room was beautiful and very clean, and its patio sitting area was perfect for coffee in the morning or watching the sunset. Theo and his wife were kind, relaxed and attentive, and all the thoughtful touches made the experience even better. I'd definitely stay here again.

We woke to birdsong and a gentle sea breeze, with breathtaking views over the Aegean Sea and Aegiali Bay. The hospitality made us feel part of the family. It was a magical, postcard-like stay. **Family restaurant To Limani, Aegiali, Amorgos** We had a fantastic meal at To Limani by the sea. The atmosphere was cozy and laid-back, with tables on a cozy street. The family running it were friendly and attentive. Everything we tried was homemade and full of flavor, from traditional Greek dishes to fresh seafood. Our favorites were the grilled fresh fish and mushrooms with local cheese, though honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. A real gem in Aegiali for authentic Greek food with a view.
