Eagles Palace - Small Luxury Hotels of the World

The beach setup was a nice touch, with a quiet section and another livelier area. Our rooms were spotless, and the cleanliness really stood out. We had a fantastic stay at Eagles Palace, and the food was excellent. The staff were always welcoming, smiling, and checking that everything was going well. The girls in the restaurant were all wonderful. Two especially stood out, one from Albania and one from Ukraine, for their kindness and professionalism. Thanks as well to the office desk manager, who was always available and ready to help. She made everything smoother with her professionalism and willingness to assist. We also got to take a pastry lesson, which was fantastic and added something special to our trip. The place is an easy recommendation for couples or families. I’d happily recommend Eagles Palace without hesitation. ☺️☺️

My wife and I stopped at the Beach Bar for a drink, but the bartender said non-residents had to use plastic containers and couldn’t sit on the bar’s furniture. The place was empty, as were the other hotel bars, and about 90% of the seating was unused. We felt like second-class citizens. We’re staying nearby for a few weeks and might have dropped in again, but after being treated that way, we won’t be back.

The food was the standout for us. We loved every restaurant, and it was the best buffet we’ve had. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the private beach was beautiful, with the most unbelievable clear, warm sea. Our self-drive boat trip was a highlight too. It was lovely exploring the islands. We spent 10 days at Eagles Palace with our three children and have already recommended it to lots of people. The actual setting is unbelievable, right on its own beautiful private beach. I gave the location four stars because it’s far from the airport, and the rooms four stars because I don’t think they’re as nice as the rest of the hotel. We had a big buggy with us, and the main annoyance was dealing with quite a few stairs to get to the pool. Apart from that, it was very buggy-friendly. The children went to the Scott Dunn kids club for a few days and loved all the activities so much they didn’t want to leave. Loved every second.

We arrived late and exhausted, and when we said we wanted to leave, the staff were rude. They said a refund had to go through the booking agency. The agency told us the hotel had refused the refund and said there was nothing they could do. After several attempts to resolve this with both the hotel and agency, the hotel kept our money even though we never stayed there. We had booked a week in advance, but the room we were given was completely different from what we reserved. It smelled terrible, and the furniture was very old. When we raised it, staff admitted the room was in poor condition. They first said there were no other rooms, then, only when we insisted on checking out, suddenly offered an upgrade. That room was just as bad. This is unacceptable behavior for a so-called five-star hotel. I’m sharing this because it could happen to anyone. If you don’t want to waste your money and be treated unfairly, stay away. Until the hotel returns the money it wrongfully kept, I’ll keep posting our documented experience on every platform I can to warn others about this dishonest practice.
