Hotel Princess

The room was cleaned every day and the towels were replaced regularly. I really liked the seawater pool, and the staff were kind. Vasilis and Christos stood out for being friendly, warm and professional. The food was okay, though the dessert selection and drink quality could use improvement.

The pool and the people at its bar, Vasilis & Hristos, were the best parts. Our room was fairly spacious, but the hotel itself feels ruined, with furniture that seems 40 years old and a bathroom in very poor shape. Ants, both yellow and black, got into the room and even crawled on our beds at night. The food was nearly identical every day, and there weren’t enough beach sunbeds or umbrellas, so people were heading down at 6 AM to claim a spot. We stayed seven nights with all-inclusive service as a family. At 1500€ for three people, I can’t say we expected much more, but it still felt like a waste of money.

The food was very good, and the large parking area and the tunnel under the main road to reach the beach are great features. The seawater pool was good too. The hotel is clean and the staff are polite, but they don’t seem able to help with much. It’s very old, and the air conditioning on the upper floors didn’t work well, leaving the rooms hot day and night. Maybe it deserved four stars ten years ago, but not now.

Our room, 324, wasn’t cleaned at all during our five-day stay, and the bathroom was dirty with moss. The furniture is very old, and there weren’t enough deck chairs or umbrellas on the beach. On top of that, grasshoppers or crickets were around every morning and evening. It really traumatized me. I understand the hotel is in nature, but they should do something, like use sprays or other effective ways to keep them away. We came hoping for a break, but the stay turned stressful. This is not a four-star hotel, and we won’t be coming back.
