Kavalieros Studios

We especially liked the studios with two separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That gave a family room to spread out, or two friends their own private space. The studios were spotless and spacious, with nice verandas and useful features like wifi, a kitchenette, and a desk. Kavallieros Studios was our best find in Milos. It’s a peaceful, open setting right by the beach at Pachena Milos, with lovely nature, sunsets, and the sound of the sea. The price, location near the main sights, studio quality, and room size were a great combination. It’s simple Greek-style self-service accommodation, a good fit if you’d rather avoid costly, complicated hotels. The owner, Mr George Kavalieros, was wonderful: polite, hospitable, flexible, honest, and always available to help us sort out whatever we needed on the island. I’d recommend the place completely.

The view is a real highlight, and the host was kind and helpful. The local beach wasn’t usable while we were there because of strong northerly winds. You’ll need your own transport to reach the mini market, restaurants, or anywhere else on the island. For the quality and location, I thought it was quite expensive. The place also feels dated and could use renovation, especially the bathrooms and kitchenette.

The rooms were clean, tidy, and really nice, and the view from the top floor balcony was lovely. Customer service was amazing.

The place is clean and so well furnished. It sits right beside a small, almost private beach, and the hosts are lovely and very attentive to how their guests are doing. They always seem ready to make the stay more enjoyable.
