St. Thomas Bed and Breakfast

The hosts were so kind and friendly, both by email and in person. Our room was at the back of the villa, with a lovely mountain view and a small olive grove. The pool was nice, the beds were great, and the free cookies and coffee were especially welcome after a long flight. Other food and drinks in the fridge downstairs, or requested, do cost extra. It's only a 15-minute drive from the airport, but there was hardly any noise from planes. The neighborhood dogs barked now and then during the night, though it wasn't too loud, and we could sleep off our jet lag peacefully. The taverna 10m from the B&B was decent, nothing fancy, with very large portions. The hosts kindly warned us about that.

After a two-week sailing holiday around the islands, my husband and I wanted a peaceful last night before flying home. This was just right, with a comfortable, pretty room, a welcoming feel, and a lovely pool to relax beside. There's also a tavern next door for dinner. It feels like an oasis outside Athens, yet it's only a 15-minute drive to the airport. Aris was very kind and friendly. Our flight was delayed, and he let us spend the following day by the pool, then drove us to the airport in the early evening. We couldn't have asked for a better end to the holiday, and hope to come back.

Don't stay here if you have allergies. It's convenient for a single night before a return flight, but I wouldn't recommend a longer stay. There was a very strong perfume smell, maybe to cover something up. One bed was much bigger than its frame and fell down during the night. It was noisy too, with dogs barking through the night and trucks from the main road.

We needed a family room for one night after landing late in Athens. It was simple and clean, and the hosts were very nice. Breakfast in the beautiful garden beside the pool was good.
