I’ve stayed in extraordinary places around the world, but The Lop Athens is still my favorite. Its luxury and high-tech feel comes through in the building and apartments, where every detail seems carefully considered. I had the Opera apartment for one night, unfortunately, since someone else had already booked the next two days. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms gave the place room for more than four people, though I enjoyed having it all to myself. The layout, design, furnishings, and especially the security were impeccable. Everything felt premium, from the slippers and bedding to the shower and self-care products. The fridge was stocked generously for breakfast, with fresh juice, milk, wine, and champagne. The kitchen had quality cookware and cooking basics like premium olive oil, plus a state-of-the-art Nespresso machine with pods and a selection of teas for a peaceful night’s sleep. They’d thought of everything. Anthi, the owner and hostess, was one of the most welcoming people I’ve met. She made me feel like family and went above and beyond to make the stay memorable. She absolutely succeeded. I’ll definitely return.

This was a beautiful, spacious apartment that was practical too, with incredible decor and excellent cleanliness. It had the feel of an Airbnb while also following hotel rules, and the cleaning crew came every three days to take care of everything. The hosts are such friendly, incredible people. They made those days lovely for us, and I’m grateful. This will definitely be my regular choice in Athens.

Our group of eight was welcomed by the host when we arrived for a three-night stay. The apartments were among the best I’ve seen in a while, with toiletries provided, amazing beds, and architecture and layout that made it feel like walking around a little palace. There were lots of balconies for sitting in the sun, plus a small garden for guests in the ground-level apartments. The host was wonderful too. She kept us posted on places to visit in our free time, suggested dinner spots, and even brought us beers while we were relaxing in the garden. Thanks, “The lop”, for making my business trip feel like a five-star vacation. ❤️

The owner was so helpful and kind, and I’d definitely come back. The place was very clean, had everything we needed, and the facilities were perfect. It’s in a very good, safe area, with an Uber to the city costing around 8-10euro, or you can take the bus.
