It's close enough to hear the waves against the shore, but far enough away that the crowds don't carry up. The accommodation was spot on, spacious, clean, and cool even in the midday heat, with an outdoor braai area, Afrikaans for BBQ. The drive back up to the road looks worse than it is. Follow the advice: first gear, aircon off, and full throttle.

The house is a wonderful place to stay, and we'd highly recommend it. It overlooks the bay and mountains, has a great terrace, and the beach is just a few minutes' walk away. Be aware that the road up to the house is very steep if you're driving.

The apartment was clean, and the owners were warm and welcoming. It’s also close to the beach, which made it a perfect place to stay.

The landlord was very friendly, and the place is almost right by the sea. Just be aware that the road there takes confident driving.

Sorry, I made a mistake. My previous post was about pontarossa appartments.
