Palaiochora was so interesting, with lots of places within an easy walk. The hotel was brilliant and perfectly placed for the beach, shops, and tavernas. The owner was welcoming and as helpful as could be. Our room was large and spotlessly clean. It had a well-equipped kitchen area and a separate bathroom with a shower and hot water all the time. The November price was really cheap, so we extended our stay. It turned into a perfect little holiday.

A small, personal hotel about 100 m from the beach, with friendly staff. We didn't speak each other's language, though.
