Megim Hotel

Megim is a lovely family run hotel, and Mariana & Eftichis made us feel welcome and checked that we were comfortable throughout. Everything was spotless. Each room has a TV, fridge, and air conditioning, plus a balcony with a nice view and a little rack for drying clothes, which we really appreciated. Breakfast suited us perfectly for a simple start to the day, with options including bacon, mini frankfurters, tomatoes, cheese, ham, yoghurt, and honey. There was freshly squeezed orange juice, tea, coffee, and Greek coffee as well. Across the road, the family's Azzuro beach bar has free beach beds and parasols, a well-stocked bar, and hot and cold snacks. We also ate almost every day at the family's Inochoos restaurant in Paleochora. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere welcoming, and the prices very fair. On our last night, the owner Michalis gave us bottles of locally produced olive oil. I don't think you could ask for much more on a holiday. We'll definitely return to these places.

You'll need a car or bicycle to get into town, as it's about 5 km away, but that also means you can enjoy a spot away from the hustle. The hotel is in a quiet area near some of Paleochora's best beaches and the fabulous Houmas restaurant. Breakfasts were lovely and the rooms clean. The family also has a nice restaurant in Paleochora town.

The beach is gorgeous and just five minutes across the road. It was quiet and relaxing, with a lovely breakfast and a wonderful family. Everything was squeaky clean, absolutely spotless.

A great fit for families, couples, or friends. The surroundings are clean and quiet, parking is available, and the center of Paleochora is easy to reach by car. There's a wonderful sea and organized beach opposite.
