Harris and Katherine from the hotel were friendly and helpful, and spoke fluent English. Our room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. From the balcony we could watch the local fishing boats and ferry, and on a clear day we could see Gavdos in the distance. The hotel’s location was lovely, just a few minutes' walk from the center and shops, and less than a minute from the sea. Almost next door, the owner has a delightful kafenion/restaurant with an amazing view. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all well prepared, the fish was delicious, and the waitress was charming.

The staff were great, and Flora was amazing! We had a great room with everything we needed and a great view from the top room, even though it wasn’t right on the water. It was near town but still quiet. The pool was always full of kids and a bit noisy, so we didn’t use it. We had an amazing stay, would go back, and highly recommend it.

The pool area was nice, and our large room was well equipped with views. Restaurants and the port are close by, with scooter rental and a travel agent just two minutes away. There’s also a cafe only about a 30-second stroll from the front door.

Flora was an outstanding host, so accommodating and understanding when we had to change our dates. We’re really grateful for her help and look forward to visiting again. We had a lovely stay at Yiorgos Studios, with a brilliant sea view and a spotlessly clean room. I didn’t have to climb the stairs either, since there’s a lift for my tired legs!

I visit Paleochora every year and always stay at Yiorgos Studios. The rooms are well appointed and very clean, and the owners and staff are warm, friendly, attentive, and ready to help. It’s in the old town, and the sea views from The Water’s Edge Cafe and Yiorgos Studios toward the iconic Crocodile are amazing. The pool is a real sanctuary on days when you don’t feel like going to the beach. One of the few places to stay in Paleochora with a pool. Highly recommend!
