Thalassa Hotel

The beach is close by, with white pebbles, clear water, and free sunbeds and umbrellas. We also enjoyed the pool, sunbeds and umbrellas, plus snacks and amazing drinks by the water. The sea views from the hotel, surrounded by beautiful nature, were stunning. The route to our room was lined with greenery, which I’d never seen anything like before. Our room was spacious, clean and spread over two floors. The cleaning ladies were friendly and housekeeping was amazing. At reception, a super friendly, smiling girl welcomed us and gave us all the information we needed. A man then carried our luggage to the room. Mr. Panayiotis was very attentive and checked in to make sure everything was perfect, and it was. There was a great variety of tasty food, and fresh fruit arrived every day. Our favorite was Greek Thursday night, and the sweets were tasty too. Compliments to the chefs! The village is a 15-minute walk away, with a lovely marina and plaza. Our stay at Thalassa was amazing.

The spacious rooms were the only real positive for us. The cost was far too high for the quality and service, and the hotel didn’t live up to expectations. Breakfast was understaffed, with just two people trying to serve all the guests. They were doing their best, but it wasn’t enough, and uncleared tables left people standing and waiting. Cats were climbing onto tables and licking plates, which was a clear hygiene concern. There was no private parking, so everyone had to leave their cars along the street. That made traffic around the property difficult and inconvenient. The bed sheets and covers were also very worn from excessive use and needed replacing. The price wasn’t justified by what the hotel offered.

We spent seven wonderful days at Thassos Lefkada, and the place won us over from the moment we arrived. It had a peaceful atmosphere, warm hospitality and authentic Greek charm. The hotel was spotless, well maintained and beautifully located between a stunning sea view and majestic mountains. The nearby beaches were beautiful and quiet, away from the crowds, with warm, crystal-clear water that was ideal for swimming. We loved the pool view over the sea, especially at sunset. Those moments will stay with us forever. The staff were extremely kind, friendly and helpful, and the food was fresh, flavorful and varied each day. The surrounding area is a real gem, with turquoise beaches and charming little islands nearby. If you’re lucky, you might even spot dolphins! A special stay full of peace, beauty and Greek magic. We wholeheartedly recommend it and will definitely be back.

A fantastic spot for a relaxing, non-commercial stay and a chance to recharge. The hotel owner is a nice guy, and the whole team is friendly and always ready to help. Highly recommended!
