White Villas

The sunset from here is breathtaking, with no other hotels or beach umbrellas in sight as far as you can see. There are six umbrellas and loungers on the beach. The complex is extremely quiet and well looked after, with just one neighbor, a friendly Greek man. The owners are kind and helpful too. I’d happily spend another holiday at White Villas.

The private beach is right behind the fence, with showers on the beach and at the property entrance. It has loungers, umbrellas, a catamaran guests can use, and other water sports equipment. The pool reaches 1.7 m, and the area is quiet, with only one neighbor nearby. We stayed in the middle house, which had two bedrooms and two bathrooms and was very comfortable. It had all the basics, including a kettle, coffee machine, and electric grill. They cleaned every three days, changed the sheets and towels, and topped up soap, coffee, and sugar. Beach towels were provided too. The information booklet clearly covered local attractions and restaurants. The one thing I missed was a vacuum cleaner. Sand kept getting inside, and sweeping it up was tiring.

The staff were polite, but the price felt excessive for what was provided. The private pool needs cleaning, and the facilities need renovation. The tennis court has been turned into a photovoltaic area. Getting to the villas means crossing fields to reach a place in the middle of nowhere. The bedding and mattress were unacceptable, not even up to the standard of a fourth-category hotel.

It’s a great option for a family holiday, and we’ll visit again. The pool is large and clean, and the table tennis and basketballs are just right for a game. The area is cool and peaceful, with a large, well-kept garden and comfortable sun loungers. You can relax outside, taking in the landscape and hearing only the sea. The house is new, wonderful, very clean, and fully equipped, so we didn’t miss anything. A picturesque path takes you just a few steps to a lovely, large sandy beach with private loungers. There’s also a beach bar-restaurant nearby for a bite to eat. Taverns and mini markets are easy to find about ten minutes away by car, which you’ll need.
