Hermes Hotel

Our host gave us such helpful suggestions for places to see and eat, and we enjoyed our time at Hermes hotel. The room was simple in terms of equipment, but comfortable and clean. The balconies have amazing views, and it was lovely to sit out there with coffee and breakfast in the morning. Thank you, George!

The owner was so responsive and welcoming, and the hotel was cleaned every day. It also has an olive oil museum, with four generations producing olive oil. The view is unique, and cleanliness was at a very high level throughout. We’d happily stay here again. Thank you very much, Giorgos!

The owners are really nice, and it’s a simple, no-frills stay. A few small administrative improvements could make it better. The best beach on Thassos is about 10 minutes away. They also have a small museum and a shop with the best prices in the area for olive oil and related products, so it’s a great place to pick up a souvenir.

The views from our room were breathtaking, far better than the photos show, and Golden beach was only a 7-minute drive away. There’s also an approximately 45-minute walking route for anyone who enjoys hiking. We were just a few meters from the village’s best taverns, in what seems like one of the most beautiful villages on Thassos. We loved every minute of our stay in Panagia at the Hermes Hotel. The owners were friendly and made us feel at home, and they gave us tips on places to visit, including a few somewhat secret spots around the island. Sotirelis olive oil is in a league of its own. I only wish I’d bought more.
