This review is about the cafe, not the rooms. We went last July and ordered Turkish (Greek) coffee, which we usually drink every day when we're in Greece. It's normally made over a fire, but the waiter used the espresso steam and took literally 10 seconds per coffee. They charged us 4 euros each. We said it wasn't what it was supposed to be, paid, and left straight away. They spoke to us really badly and nearly got into a fight with us. The father in that family smelled of alcohol. The village is beautiful, but sit somewhere else.

5 euros for a Freddy espresso and 8 euros for a smoothie? Those are prices I’d expect in Kolonaki or Kifisia. I gave 2 stars for the spot by the running water, under a huge plane tree.

We went to the cafeteria in August 2023. The owner was pretty hostile, and breakfast was poor quality for a ridiculous price. Fried eggs cost 7-8 euros, without bread, and espresso was 4.5 euros. The village is worth visiting, but I’d definitely avoid this place.

I was visiting Thassos for a day and planned to drive to Marble Beach and then Golden Beach. The car navigation sent us the wrong way, and instead of reaching the highway we ended up outside this restaurant. I asked the staff for the internet password so I could use navigation on my phone. I spoke in English and got an answer in English, but when I explained what had happened, the woman switched to Greek and shook her head. It’s a shame not to help someone who needs it, especially a tourist.

The sweets were really tasty, with lots of choices, and it was a nice, clean place to eat. The staff were friendly and helpful, the wait was reasonable, and the prices were decent.
