The Royal Senses Resort & Spa Crete, Curio Collect

I came all the way from Australia last September, and this was the most beautiful resort I’ve ever stayed at. Everything was perfect, especially our suite with its private pool 😍 Thank you so much.

The buffet had great quality and lots of variety, and the resort had everything we could want. It’s easy to spend the whole stay relaxing in the sunshine, enjoying the food and service without needing to go anywhere. The staff welcomed us like we were at home and were kind and helpful throughout. When our child became ill, they went out of their way to support us and meet our needs. We’ll never forget that care. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special. We’d love to come back one day, though there’s a serious risk we won’t want to go home!

I had a villa with a private pool overlooking the beach, and it was wonderful. The food was lovely, with several restaurants to choose from. The staff were so kind and did everything they could to make my stay perfect. At reception, I was told my room had been upgraded, then welcomed with champagne and cocktails. A perfect start. I’ll definitely be back.

The resort looks fantastic, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. There’s a nice private beach sheltered by wave breakers, so it feels very relaxed, and both pools are nice. For some reason, the adults-only pool is shallower than the one open to everyone. We had half board, but drinks at dinner cost extra. It felt odd to pay 5 euro for water when it was free at the beach, in our room, and at breakfast. There were quite a few families, as you’d expect from a place advertised as family-friendly, but there isn’t a lot for kids to do. I’d come back in a heartbeat, just without the baby next time.
