Knossos Apartments

The owners were kind and attentive, and I enjoyed ordering breakfast each morning and eating it by the pool. The garden was lovely, with plants, plus friendly cats and dogs that didn't bother me. Panormos, with its restaurants, shops, bars, and travel agencies, is about a 10-minute walk away. I came by bus from Chania, and the bus stop is around 15 minutes on foot from the apartments. My room was neat and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and a balcony looking out over the pool and sea. The complex is charming and exceptionally well kept. The rooms may be a little dated, but everything worked perfectly and the apartment had all the equipment I needed. I noticed people returning year after year, which says a lot about the quality of the place.

A cozy place with beautiful views and a wonderfully relaxing feel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and my room was clean with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I'd recommend it to other travelers.

With only eight apartments, there's always a spot by the pool, whatever time of day, so no need to save a sunbed with a towel in the morning. The rooms are simple but have what you need, and everything is very clean. Housekeeping came twice a week. Breakfast and snacks are worth trying, and Janni makes excellent long drinks that aren't on any other menu. We stayed for two weeks in August and felt right at home, thanks to the hospitality, pool, and garden. There are friendly, affectionate dogs and cats for animal lovers, as well as goats, sheep, geckos, and cicadas in the neighborhood. Panormos is about a 15-minute walk away, with everything else you might need. We'd love to return!
