The hosts were what made our stay especially lovely: such a charming, kind, helpful couple, and truly welcoming. We had a wonderful time at Sevasti Studios and would gladly recommend it for a peaceful, authentic Greek holiday. With children, it’s hard to imagine a better fit. It felt safe, clean and calm, with plenty of Greek charm. The studios are spotless and regularly cleaned. Towels and bed linen are supplied, the kitchen has what you need to cook, and there are insect screens on the windows for comfortable evenings. Air conditioning was a real lifesaver in the hot afternoons. We also had a spacious terrace with a table, just right for breakfast or a quiet evening outside. Getting around on foot was easy: the beach is only a two-minute walk away, a large supermarket with everything you might need is about ten minutes away, and there are lots of nice tavernas and restaurants nearby for local food. It felt like a perfect stay in true Greece.

The location was good and the rooms were clean, but that was about all we liked. The beds were very uncomfortable. We were told they were for people with bad backs, though neither of us had a bad back. The shower water was hot maybe once a day. The air conditioner leaked, and when we mentioned it, she said we had to empty the bucket collecting the condensation, as if it were our fault. Nobody had told us about the bucket. We had to ask for housekeeping because they otherwise didn’t do it. One day we came back exhausted after being out all day and just wanted to get into our rooms. Cleaning had only just started at 6:30pm. We were told it would take five minutes, but it ended up taking 30. We also overheard the owner speaking loudly and complaining about the power bill. Our friends had a leaking toilet in their room, and their shower wouldn’t stay on the wall. It might be okay for a quick stay apart from all that.

It’s a cozy apartment on a very quiet street, just a two-minute walk from the beach. There are good places to eat nearby and a large supermarket five minutes away on foot. I stayed for 15 days, and my apartment had everything I needed, plus a large shared terrace and my own balcony. The owners were very nice and helped with anything, laundry for example. This is a good fit if you don’t mind being a bit away from Massouri and would rather stay somewhere quieter. Massouri is about 10 minutes away by scooter, no problem. I’ll definitely come back!

The views of Symi were awesome, and everything was very clean and comfortable. It’s an excellent family-owned and operated place. I’ll stay there again. Can’t wait.
