Anemologio

Getting to Agia Anna beach takes about ten minutes on foot. In forty-degree heat, that walk was a little tiring, but manageable. We were staying for three days as part of the evoia film project, in a four-bed hotel room. The balcony and two single beds were fairly comfortable, but on day two we found the frame had come loose from one leg of the large double bed. While trying to fix it, the frame fell off. The dishes and glasses were dirty too, including one glass with something in it that I won’t get into. We spent most of our time at the beach and at the Festival master classes, so we didn’t raise these issues. If we’d stayed longer, we would have asked them to fix the bed and would definitely have mentioned the room’s lack of cleanliness.

Our hosts were kind, and breakfast was delicious. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, with plenty of room for our little ones and cots for children of all ages. Everything you need for a peaceful vacation!

We were there from 26/7 to 30/7. The room was clean, and it was really peaceful and quiet. We’d happily return, though breakfast definitely needs more options.

It’s a quiet, friendly place and pets are welcome, which is useful if you have little friends. There’s parking and the breakfast is decent. Our room was roomy and clean, as was the very small, old-fashioned bathroom. But it was hot all day and the air conditioning wasn’t strong enough. The beds in our room were such poor quality that I couldn’t sleep on them. It’s an okay choice for families if you don’t have high expectations.
