The beach is a 10-minute walk, but there wasn’t anywhere nearby to park. The rooms were extremely small, with no room for anything, and the bathroom barely had space to shower. The night was awful. Noisy kids were screaming and women talking kept waking us up. After a terrible sleep, a woman came onto our balcony at nine am and asked when we were leaving so she could clean the room. The day we were arriving, the receptionist had called to ask what time we’d get there. We were supposed to leave the next day.

The terrace was a lovely part of our ground-floor stay, almost level with the street and great for breakfast or a board game. The location worked well too, with coffee and breakfast spots nearby and a large supermarket close at hand. Our rooms were clean and pleasant, with air-conditioning and a small fridge in each bedroom. The bathroom, though, was extremely cramped. It was hard to shower without getting everything wet or bumping into a wall. The host was polite and really nice, but the apartment wasn't ready when we arrived, so we waited about an hour to check in.
