I’ve only been to the ground floor of Theasis hotel for espresso and, naturally, a couple of glasses of Scotch whisky. The staff’s service was spectacular, the kind I enjoy in my second beloved country, the Great New Zealand, where I live. Greetings from New Zealand. Let’s also remember the New Zealand soldiers who came to Greece in the two world wars to defend us, in 1915 against the Turks and in 1941 against the Germans. There’s a street in Wellington, New Zealand’s capital, called Hania street, in memory of the soldiers who lost their lives trying to protect us from the Germans.

The people here are so hospitable that you really do feel at home, and the surrounding area is wonderful, with friendly locals. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and spotless. Breakfast was nice and had something for most tastes, including eggs, local pies, coffee, milk, juice, jam, honey, chocolate spread, and pastries. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. My one suggestion is to make the towels a little bigger.

I came back for a second stay, six years after my first visit when the hotel had just opened. It was a delight to find the same quality and standards still in place. The beds and linens were wonderful, the rooms exceptionally clean, and the staff friendly and attentive. I felt so welcome again. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!

Paramythia is a quiet village, and the hotel turned out to be much better than I expected. The rooms were very good and the service excellent. Wonderful beaches are only a 30-minute drive away, without the tourist crowds.
