The hosts were warm and welcoming, and we really enjoyed our four nights in mid-June. We only wished we'd stayed longer. Booking.com made booking straightforward, and the room was modern, fresh and clean, with an amazing balcony view. The bed was firm but comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. Water pressure wasn't consistently great, though that's common in this part of the world. There was a little kitchenette with a hob, fridge and kettle, handy for making tea, and the room was cleaned each day. The pool was open from 9am to 8pm, and finding a sunlounger was never a problem. It was about a 15-minute walk to Parga harbour, with a steep climb on the way back, or a taxi cost 6 euro. Valtos beach was roughly a 10-minute walk away, also involving a steep incline.

The view over Valtos gulf and beach, with Parga Castle in sight, made up for the lack of parking. Service was good, the room was very clean, and the owner was friendly and always keen to help. As an Albanian Greek, he welcomed us in beautiful old Albanian.

The upper terrace gets wonderful sun and has a breathtaking view. It's a lovely place, with great staff and coffee, and the beach is just a five-minute walk down.

We had a lovely veranda and seating area to sit in during the rain and play cards, and the small pool was very clean. The owners live on site and are really friendly. There's no snack bar there, though a drinks vending machine is available. Our room was clean and tidy, with a toilet and sink, a shower over a bath, and hand towels provided. The small kitchenette has a hob and fridge. We weren't planning to cook, so the kettle, cups and plates were enough for us. The building is pretty and well cared for, overlooking the bay. We'll definitely return!
