Anna Platanou Hotel

We stayed in the annex, which was spotlessly clean and had a bookshelf where guests had left books. The old town and its shops, bars, and seafront restaurants were only about a five-minute walk away. Breakfast and the pool bar both had lovely service, and at check-in we got some brilliant suggestions for food, drinks, and sightseeing. We had a wonderful honeymoon here and couldn’t have been happier.

The homemade breakfast was great, and the staff were always ready to go the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. This is a lovely, very clean hotel in a central spot, run by a local family who were all amazing, especially George and Anna. A real gem for a visit to Paros. Highly recommend, 5/5!

The host was excellent from the start, friendly and helpful, and gave us some good suggestions for things to do and places to eat. The room itself was beautiful and clean, with great air conditioning and a decent-sized bathroom, though the bathroom layout was awkward, there was no shelf space and the round basin was hard to use. The room also felt cramped with two suitcases. It’s a short walk into town. Breakfast was a big letdown, with little choice and poor quality. We went to the town’s restaurants and bakeries instead. If we come back to Paros, I’m not sure we’d stay here again.

The pool was a real highlight, spacious and never crowded, with plenty of loungers. The free breakfast was enough to get the day started, with hot options like toast, sunny-side-up eggs, and egg frittatas. Everyone at this family-run hotel was kind and helpful, and the service was excellent. It’s about a 4 or 5 minute walk to the sea and restaurants, ten minutes to the bus station, and fifteen to the ferry port. The only small drawback was the shower: it’s quite tight and just has a curtain, so water gets onto the floor. The removable shower head, temperature, and water pressure were all great, though.
