Argonauta

We loved the breakfast, served brunch-style in the main square. Three months later, I'm still thinking about the food. The location is right in the middle of everything, by the restaurants, shops, and cafes, and just a two-minute walk from the port. The team did a wonderful job renovating the hotel, and everyone was kind and friendly. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the common areas are lovely places to sit and relax. I honestly thought about extending my stay just to spend more time here.

When our ferry was cancelled on the day we were supposed to leave, we thought we might need another night. Argonauta found room for us, then when we managed to get an overnight ferry, let us cancel without a charge and store our luggage until we could board. The staff were polite, kind, and so accommodating. We stayed for a couple of nights in August, and everything about the experience was phenomenal. The hotel is right in the heart of Parikia but feels like a hidden oasis, with outdoor spaces between the rooms that make nice reading spots or places to sit in the sun with a glass of wine. I can't recommend it enough.

The free breakfast was the best we had on our travels, and the service was excellent. The location is ideal, close to both the port and bus station. We had Room 10, which was a decent size but backs onto an alley with restaurants and shops. It got noisy late at night, and, as others have said, the room stayed quite bright too. We'd happily return, but would choose another room.

Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and better than we expected. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and both the location in the heart of Parikia town near the port and the service were excellent. We had a lovely stay at Argonauta in July.
