Fragoulis Village

It feels more like a family-run inn than a standard hotel. The staff are friendly, attentive, and eager to help, and there’s daily maid service that keeps the rooms fresh. Everything is kept in immaculate condition and it’s extremely comfortable. Calling it a 2 star hotel does it a disservice.

We booked this on a whim for our honeymoon and couldn’t have been happier. The views were great, the room was amazing, and the staff were super accommodating and lovely. Breakfast was solid, and when we wanted to extend our stay, they were fully booked but tried everything they could to fit us in. It’s a bit of a ride from the port, but we liked being tucked away from all the chaos of Paros. You can get here by bus or taxi. The bus stop is about a five minute walk from the hotel, and you can use buses or taxis to get around the island. We took the bus the first day, then rented an ATV, which was definitely the way to go. I’d recommend staying here, and we’ll likely come back with the family. Renting a vehicle, moped, or ATV is a good idea.

The views and peaceful atmosphere at Fragoulis Village are hard to beat. We had a great stay.

The breakfast and shower were decent, but the rest of our stay was a disappointment. Our room felt like a guard’s room: it had very little light and only one window, which faced the reception and couldn’t be opened. People were constantly sitting on chairs by the door to reception, so there was no privacy. The air conditioning and the sheets both smelled of mold. We asked to switch rooms, but the staff refused. Reception was only available during limited hours, and we couldn’t find anyone to check us out early in the morning. The receptionist insisted that the tourist tax had to be paid in cash, although her colleague later accepted a card. I don’t understand why. I absolutely don’t recommend this hotel.
