We felt welcome from the start, thanks to Heleni at the front desk and Skye in the dining room 💜. The hotel has clean rooms and shared spaces, friendly, accommodating staff, and plenty of amenities. The grounds are quaint, with a big pool and a terrace where you can relax and take in the gorgeous view. Breakfast is included and has lots of choice; there’s also a modest supper menu if you’d rather stay close by in the evening. A walking path just past the pool takes about seven minutes to reach the beach. Along the road toward Parikia’s center and the main ferry port, there are lots of restaurants, cafes, and small markets. A local bus stops nearby, too, and costs 2.50 euros each way to visit other parts of the island. Parikia has plenty of shops and places to eat, and the island is very family-friendly.

It’s a short walk into town for shops and restaurants, and the rooms are roomy, with a very nice balcony. Breakfast is served buffet-style. I only found out on my last day that they had other food available too, but nobody had mentioned it.

The staff were the real highlight, absolutely lovely, kind, and warm. The hotel has charm, though it feels dated and could do with a refresh. A little traditional Greek music in the lobby and dining area, or mellow tunes by the pool, might make the atmosphere even nicer. Getting to the beach takes about five minutes along a quiet path past hens, roosters, and cows, which gives it an old Greek countryside feel. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and supermarkets nearby, and it’s another five minutes to the port, cute shops, and the Church of 100 Doors. The house-made tzatziki was delicious, too.

Breakfast was included and had so many options, they really went above and beyond. The pool is great, with lots of places to sit whether you want shade or sun, and it’s just a quick walk down the road to the water. At Eri Hotel the rooms are very spacious and the aircon worked. The staff are so lovely. We had a beautiful stay, and I’d recommend this place.
