Mythic Paros Adults Only

The food was good, the pool views were amazing, and the staff were pleasant. But Mythic Paros wasn't the stay we expected from somewhere advertised as a 5-star luxury resort. It felt much more like a health and wellness place focused on the spa and healthy food. The rooms weren't functional. The trash was just a bag on the floor, and the sink was so small that water splashed over the counter and our things whenever we turned it on. We had no hot water. The hotel tried to help by moving us, but in the new room the safe didn't work and the bathroom was dirty when we arrived. The pool was very cold, too. We rented a car through the hotel and it had no gas when we picked it up. It wasn't a terrible experience, but it wasn't what we wanted, and we left a night early. I'm writing this because I wish I'd known before booking. Some people might like this resort, but it wasn't what we expected based on the way it's advertised.

Mythic Garden has lovely views, a charming boutique feel, and welcoming staff. We had a lovely stay, though it doesn't quite meet our 5-star standards. The rooms are on the small side, but the beds are very comfortable. We sometimes had trouble getting hot water in the shower, and the beautiful pool was surprisingly cold even at the end of June. Prices are high across the board, from rooms and food and drinks to spa treatments.

The room decor was excellent, and the pool felt cool and refreshing in the heat. The views were beyond amazing and the service was great. Only real drawback was how small the shower and toilet room were. Otherwise, everything felt magical. Hands down one of the best hotels I've been to, and worth another trip just to stay here.

The sunset and infinity pool views were the only nice parts for us. You need a car, since the lively spots are a 25-30 minute drive away. I wish I'd paid more attention to the other reviews before booking. So many mention that the service, management, amenities, and room sizes don't live up to a 5-star rating. To me, they felt like a 3.5-star hotel at best. Just look at the lotion in our room. Does it say 5-star, or even 4-star? The other resorts we stayed at in Greece supplied luxury products like Bvlgari and Dyptique. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to family or friends. This is not a 5-star resort in any way.
