Siren Rooms & Apartments

After seeing mixed reviews online, we arrived without a booking and asked to see a room. Evelyn showed us one quickly. It hadn't been cleaned yet, but looked like it would suit us, and she let us leave our bags. Within an hour she told us it was ready, and it was clean and airy. We booked two nights in a twin room, and after my friend left I ended up staying 10+. The rooms are clean, with daily cleaning and fresh towels. Beds are comfortable and the linens clean. The shower drains are poorly designed and slow, and some chair and table legs are worn, but that's acceptable for the price. The balconies, facing either the pool or street, are nice. There's a glass door and a lockable shutter, so you can air the room while keeping it locked and not running the AC. I moved rooms three times as I kept extending at the last minute, and the changes were quick and easy. Some rooms have a small kitchenette with two hobs and a sink. There's not much room to cook a full meal, but enough for a quick pasta or something basic for one or two people. The restaurant food was nice and reasonably priced, and the staff were nice too. My one suggestion would be a happy hour at the bar to bring more people in during the evening. The hostel next door shares the bar and pool, and has dorms on the ground floor, which is handy for backpackers wanting to meet people. The pool is spacious and nice. I mostly dealt with Evelyn, who was friendly and helpful throughout. I'd stay again.
