Spyros Rooms

The room was filthy and smelled musty. The fridge smelled too, and the AC leaked water all over the floor. When we told him, he said he’d send a technician the next day, but that never happened. There were no shutters, so the veranda lights and noise from other guests kept us from sleeping, and changing clothes was impossible. When we arrived in Paros, we called him and he gave us directions to the hotel. We told him we’d be there in five minutes, but he wasn’t there when we arrived. We called him more than five times, and the neighbor called him about three times too, but his phone was off. After waiting an hour in the sun with our suitcases, we went into room number 1 on the ground floor on the right. Another hour later, he called to ask if we’d arrived and where we were, even though we’d clearly told him we’d be in the rooms in five minutes. Instead of apologizing, he criticized us for going into the room, and only seemed concerned that we pay that same day. We refused. On the last day, we had to look for him again to pay. After all of that, we asked for a receipt, but he didn’t want to give one and told us to leave the money with the cleaner. Eventually he came to our room, cut off the receipt, and charged us 0.50 cents per night for some tax. The absolute shame and disgrace.

The host was rude and sarcastic. The room was dirty and smelled like mold. Shame and disgrace!
