Galazios Kolpos Pension

Maliaras, Ioanna's cat, was the highlight for us, the best guardian!!! The room was amazing and so conveniently close to Patitiri port. Ioanna was a wonderful host, gave us such warm hospitality and told us all about the island.

We found the hosts friendly, efficient and excellent, and the accommodation was good quality without costing much. The rooms were very clean, with comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, a good air conditioner and a bar fridge. It’s above the harbour but still close to town.

The internet was blazing fast, almost like fiber optic, which isn’t a given in the Sporades. The only minor drawback is the hotel’s position on a cliff, as is typical of Patitiri port, so there are a few stairs to climb. Ms. Ioanna took great care of the property and responded straight away when we asked for a filter coffee maker and a spatula for the frying pan. Our room was cleaned every day, almost too thoroughly. It was a real surprise: a large bedroom with three beds, a separate kitchenette and a terrace with a lovely view. Though ours was called a “side view,” we could clearly see the sea and port. The bathroom was a plus too, with a proper shower and towels that weren’t sticky.

This is a lovely guesthouse right by the harbor, and it was quiet. It sits about 10-15 meters above sea level. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, and we’d happily come back. They mopped daily, everything was very clean, and we got fresh bed linen twice a week. Hand and bath towels were provided as needed. Our apartment was charmingly furnished and had what we needed. The beds were generally comfortable, and the bathroom had a sink and a large shower. Ceiling height was only around 205-210 cm. The air conditioner worked well. At night, we slept with the windows open and the shutters closed.
