The staff were very kind, and I liked the sea view and the racks on the balcony for wet swimsuits. The room was clean, though it looked very basic and cheap, especially considering how expensive the rooms are in summer. The spring beds weren't comfortable either. There are stairs to get to the hotel, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with limited walking ability.

Katerina is such an energetic, friendly and helpful owner. We loved the delicious, inexpensive breakfast and how quiet and exceptionally clean this family-run hotel was. The beach is only a few minutes away on foot, and Petra beach takes about 15 minutes to walk to. We'd stay here again if we return to Patmos.

We spent a few days here in June 2023 and loved the beautiful, very clean rooms and gorgeous setting, just a few meters from the sea. The hosts are super nice too. We'd highly recommend it and hope to come back in the near future.

That magical view of Groikos was a lovely extra, and we had a perfect vacation at Athina hotel in Patmos from 04-09/08/2020. Katerina and Kosta were there at breakfast to bring whatever else we needed, and the breakfast was excellent. The service was the friendliest we've ever had, and everything was very clean. We really recommend it. Thanks to the Athina hotel team ✨

Sitting on the ground-floor balcony with coffee in the daytime or a drink at night, looking out over Groikos bay, was a highlight. The hotel has a fantastic view and a small parking lot. It's about a 9-minute drive from Skala harbor, in the south west of Patmos. The front door stays locked, and you scan the key they give you to get in. My room was small, with basic amenities, but clean. I also liked the folder with hotel and housekeeping information, which felt professional. Breakfast is available for an extra cost, and the owner was very nice and attentive. A good experience.
