That old-world charm was what I loved most. Some of the details are amazing, especially the marble and the fireplace in the dining room. The room was huge, as was the comfortable bed, and I adored the bathroom. Everything was spotless, and the fourth-floor maid was amazing. The balconies and staircases could use some improvement, though you won't see them if you take the lifts. I'd book this hotel again without hesitation and recommend it to others.

The room's view was absolutely stunning, and the bed was the best we've had so far in Greece. There was also a massive bath where we could soak away the days of travel. Christos the doorman was brilliant, Maria and her crew made a very good breakfast, and the reception staff were excellent. We'd read the poor reviews from a few years ago but didn't see any of that. We really enjoyed our two-day break. My daughter and I are both very happy customers, and we'll definitely book again.

We had a clean sea-view room with a good-sized seating area and plenty of storage. The balcony had a good view, and the wooden shutters together with the curtains kept the light out. There was a fridge in the room, a large TV with international channels, and a bath and shower in the bathroom. The bed was soft and comfortable, and the staff were welcoming. The hotel has two entrances and a good location. Breakfast was typical for a Greek hotel and was replenished often.

July 2023. From the rooftop, the waterside location gives you a beautiful view. The hotel must have been grand once, with gorgeous marble, high ceilings, chandeliers and a grand dining room. Reception staff were lovely and competent, and the beds were clean and comfortable. Our room had a wood floor instead of carpet, so you might ask for that. The roof garden has a nice pool and a great view, with amazing bar service at a reasonable price.

I was extremely disappointed, especially after hearing good things about this hotel. The room was filthy, with dirt everywhere, lots of mold and poor ventilation. The decor was extremely kitsch, with doors that led nowhere and peeling wallpaper. The toilet is right beside the bath, which felt unhygienic. The door was difficult to open and lock, and could be opened from outside, so there was no privacy. There weren't any outlets, just light switches that didn't seem to control anything. Only the front rooms have a good view, and the insulation is terrible, so it isn't soundproof. The whole place felt unprofessional and impossible to live in. I don't recommend it.
