I needed an inexpensive place for one night, and this was just right. It was basic, clean, and had everything I needed for the stay. The hotel manager was kind and helpful, and moved me at no charge to a room with its own bathroom. After spending the night on a ferry deck, I was especially happy to have that bit of privacy.

The receptionist was really helpful, pointing out sights on a map and telling us to head to the marina for sunset. They also explained the coach and ferry stations. The hotel was right in the center, close to shops, restaurants, and the ports. We were a group of friends in a triple room, and it was cheap and cheerful. The ferry to Sami in Kefalonia took about 10 minutes from the hotel, leaving at 1pm and costing around €15. The bus station was a little farther away. There was a 15:30 bus from Patra to Argostolion, arriving at 20:00 for €25. Our friends going to Zante needed a combined bus ticket to Kyllini, then a ferry.

The convenient location and cleanliness were real pluses. Overall, I had a good stay, though the rooms felt cramped and a bit pricey for their size.

My room had recently been renovated and felt comfortably sized. For the price, it was excellent, especially compared with the other options nearby. I don't think such a low rating is deserved.
