10/10
For €40, I had a small single room for one night while visiting a friend in Rio. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and I liked the balcony view of the bridge, even with the highway in sight. The road is very close, so car noise with the balcony door open might bother sensitive sleepers. It didn’t bother me, though. For the price, what you get is just right.

6/10
There were extra blankets and pillows, and the bed was soft. The room was noisy, though, since the highway to the bridge runs right outside the window. The bathroom was cramped and uncomfortable to bathe in, and the water pressure kept changing. The refrigerator wasn’t plugged in, so it wouldn’t reach the temperature you wanted straight away. Fine for a quick night’s sleep.

The family here are amazing and so welcoming. I love this little hotel, which is close to everything, including the beach, Patra, the bridge, and the hospital.

It’s quiet, close to the university, and the owners are kind. Good for the price.

Clean and inexpensive, especially if you have someone in the hospital.
