Pietra Mare Suites

Try telling the owner the hot water isn't working. He'll insist that it is, then blame you if you push back and refuse to switch on the water heater. The way he argues with reviewers is the same way he treats customers. I wouldn't give money to someone like that.

The owner was unaccountable, so I'd avoid this place. The water heater stopped working during our stay. When we first called, he assured us it was working, so we thought it might be a temporary problem and went on with our day. We came back that evening and still had no hot water. On our second call, he said nothing could be done and blamed us for not reporting it again earlier, then hung up.

We booked because it was cheap compared with other suites, but I wouldn't recommend staying here. The bed was partly broken, there was no kitchen or supplies, and the room was loud, with noisy work going on even at night. The bathroom smelled awful, was dirty, had no hot water, and the shower didn't work.

We were afraid to touch anything. The bathroom was still wet from the previous guests and had hair everywhere, and each shower flooded the whole room so badly that using the toilet became impossible. The room hadn't been cleaned. Horrible hotel.
