The Bold Type Hotel

We had a great stay, and I’d go back when the AC can be turned on for every room. The hotel can only control it in blocks, which was the one thing I wished worked differently. The bed was comfy but a little small, and the shower had some of the best pressure I’ve had in a hotel. Dinner and breakfast were both great. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the cute boutique style feels like a luxury bnb. It’s in a perfect spot away from the noisy part of the city, with lovely finishing and decor throughout.

Breakfast was excellent, and I enjoyed eating well in a quiet setting. The staff were wonderful and helped with everything I needed. The room had all the essentials, with thoughtful details throughout, and the hotel’s distinctive little touches were really heartfelt. I’d recommend it without hesitation.

We’ll be back! We stop here every time we pass through Patra, and the staff are a big part of why we keep choosing it. They go out of their way to help. The rooms feel luxurious, breakfast is amazing, and the food overall is excellent. And those pillows are fabulous 😍 Melinda and Tony Camillos

The garden felt like an oasis away from everything, and the staff were amazing, especially when we had trouble with the car. Our rooms were prepared down to the smallest detail. The old town and ancient Roman Theatre are right in front of the balcony, in a nice part of the area. I chose the Bold Type for its location as well as its reviews. I’ve known the building all my life, since I was born literally 50m away, and this was my first neighbourhood. The city had a few disappointments for me, but the hotel was easily the best choice of the trip. Highly recommended.
