Perla di Mare

We stayed for a month in the top floor apartment, and I think it was one of our best holidays ever. Takis and Katerina are a lovely, caring couple who made us feel so welcome, and nothing had been overlooked in the spacious, comfortable apartment. Takis met us early in the morning when we came off the overnight ferry and drove us to the house. I knew the place would be lovely, but the view from the 2 verandas blew me away. With the curtains open, you could see it from anywhere in the house. The house was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable, and both bedrooms had air-conditioning. We hardly used it because open windows and doors brought a lovely cool breeze through the house. There was water, biscuits, and a bottle of wine waiting for us, such a nice touch. And Katerina’s home baked treats were lovely. Their hospitality is second to none. We can’t wait to return. Pauline and Paul.

Our hosts, Takis and Katerina, were so helpful. They arranged transfers to and from the ferry at the main harbour and pointed us to places where the locals eat. We had a fabulous, relaxing two weeks in the 1 bed ground floor apartment by the water, with all the essential facilities, plus its own sunbeds and umbrella. We plan to return!

The hosts were very welcoming, and we had a really good time. It’s a lovely spot to relax, with comfortable apartments right on the waterfront. There are nice beaches just minutes away on foot or by boat, and the busier town of Ano Symi is only a few minutes’ drive.

A lovely couple owns Perla di Mare, and the hostess was great. The facilities were amazing, as was the view. If you’re after a relaxing summer with a great taverna nearby, I’d highly recommend it!
