Anna Hotel

The location was handy, close enough to the promenade that we didn't need to drive, and there were things for children to do, including table tennis and billiards. At Hotel Anna in Pefkohori, we found the staff communicative and kind, and the atmosphere was friendly. Our room was decent and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the terrace looked out over the pools. Breakfast and dinner were generous, with lots of different specialties. It made for a pleasant, relaxing stay, and I look forward to coming back. I'd recommend it to anyone after a nice holiday and good food.

The room was hard to access because the key card didn’t work properly, and it was noisy at night. I could constantly hear people using the bathroom upstairs, which made it feel as if someone were in my own bathroom. The fridge was so loud that I couldn’t sleep and ended up unplugging it. There were no bathrobes, slippers, body or hair toiletries, coffee, water, sugar, or anything similar in the room. The phone didn't work, so I couldn’t call reception for help or ask for a bottle of water. When I went down to reception in the middle of the night, nobody was there. This was a very disappointing off-season stay. I’d give the hotel 3 out of 10.

We enjoyed ourselves enough to add two nights to our original seven night booking. The staff were very friendly, the food was tasty and plentiful, though it could have been more varied, and the rooms were cleaned daily. Pefkohori was a nice surprise, lively with lots of shops and taverns for different budgets and tastes. The hotel is near the centre. We’ll surely come back and recommend staying here.

The pools were fantastic, with something for everyone, and the evening entertainment was a nice touch: activities for the kids after dinner, then a program for adults. Breakfast and dinner were fresh, delicious, and varied, and our room was cleaned every day. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return.
