House Lemoni, Apartment C - Pelekas, Corfu

Really nice and well equipped, though it won't suit anyone with mobility issues.

The apartment was lovely and spotless, with a beautiful view. Such a beautiful place!

The village is cute, with small shops, bars, bakeries, and plenty of restaurants up the hill, including a kebab place downstairs. We had a good stay, but I'd pay more attention to cleanliness next time: the dishes were dirty even though the apartment had been cleaned that morning. I've noticed this seems common across the island. We were on the ground floor in a cozy apartment with a little terrace, hammock, and dining table and chairs. All the bedrooms had air conditioning, but the living room bed was quite uncomfortable. The electric boiler needs about ten minutes between showers. The tap water has a strong smell, and, as elsewhere on Corfu, toilet paper has to go in the bin beside the toilet because of the sewage system. You'll need a car for the beach or other towns. There's a bus stop nearby, but the bus only runs twice a day, at ten and noon.
