Bill, whose Greek name is Vasilis, was the highlight for us: a refined, genuine gentleman who smiled all day. He’s well educated in music, a composer and ecclesiastical organ player, and knows the island’s routes and restaurants that offer high quality for good value. We spent a week there last July, paying 90 euros for a double with breakfast. The building is old but renovated, and the medium-sized rooms were very clean and well kept. Breakfast was exceptional, like what you’d get at 4* hotels, and parking was ample. The location is 5 kms from Corfu centre on the main road, so there’s traffic noise despite the double glazed windows. It’s not on the beach, though close enough. Everything works well and efficiently. The decor and architecture aren’t high style, but we felt very, very comfortable and welcome. I recommend the place 100%.

The homemade breakfast was beautiful, with home-grown fruit and salad, and our room was clean and tidy, with airconditioning and a balcony. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. It’s an absolute gem of Corfu, 15 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes from the beach. We’ll come back!

The only downside is the main road traffic noise. The rooms have double-glazing aluminum doors, though, so the sound is reduced. The place is very well kept and organized, just as other reviews describe, and the owners are absolutely helpful and positive. Vasilis is always available when you need help. Dora puts special care into cooking good-quality breakfasts, and I really appreciated that. They do their best to offer a quality selection. I recommend this place, it’s a good choice.

The location is close to the beach and a planespotting spot, but a bit far from the city centre, so a car is useful if you stay here. The rooms could do with some refreshing, but the rest was outstanding. Staying at Aristides Studios was a pleasure, with great service and really helpful staff. When we arrived, the owner offered us lemonade and explained all about Corfu. The breakfasts were amazing, the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had!

The room was clean and pleasant, and the hosts were friendly, polite, and very welcoming. They gave us all the information we needed. Old Korfu is 15 min away by bus, and there are nice southern beaches about 10-15 min away by bus. A real pleasure to stay here, highly recommend.
