Some staff were very friendly, and the gym was quite good. The rooms were good too, though not as fancy as the photos make them look. I’d call this a three-star place rather than four, judging by the outside of the building. I’m also almost certain two of the photos aren’t from this hotel. In the off-season, every nearby restaurant was closed. When reception called a taxi, they didn’t warn us or help us agree on a fare before the ride, and we ended up with fantasy prices. One of the two shampoos had been diluted with water. The difference in thickness was obvious.

The hotel and rooms are beautiful, and the rooms are great. We had a wonderful sea view from the room, restaurant, and bar. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and spoke English, which was really nice. The private beach was very convenient, and the private pool area was spectacular.

The private beach and pool were both nice, and there’s a free paddleboard you can use to swim over to a nearby island. The room was clean, modern, and had a beautiful view. I didn’t like the €20 fee for checking in an hour early, though the normal check-in time is 3pm. There’s no direct bus to the airport, so a 10-minute taxi costs €35. If you’re visiting Corfu, I recommend renting a car and driving around. The best beaches we visited were Raviani and Gryfada. One of the nicest beaches I’ve seen in my life!

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and staying at Pontikonisi hotel was a really nice experience. Its location is amazing, with a view of Mouse Island and very close to the airport. There’s also a private beach to enjoy.

I booked a double room for 19 and 20 August, but the hotel cancelled my reservation without any concern. It was very disappointing and unprofessional, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here because they’re unreliable. 0/5 stars. My refund came two months after the reservation, and it was €25 less than the amount I’d paid. Please avoid this place so it doesn’t disrupt your trip.
