Villa Aelia sits in an olive grove at the end of a quiet street, so nobody bothers you and you can play music without a problem. You’ll need a car to reach it and get around. Lidl and two Greek supermarkets are five minutes away, Argostoli is 10 minutes away, Makris Giolos beach is 12 minutes away, and the airport is a 10 minute drive. Makris Giolos is an excellent blue flag beach. It worked perfectly for a family with two children and a baby. The studio has a double bed and two large single beds, and Eleni provides a baby bed for free. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a dishwasher that saves time, plus spices, oil, coffee, a coffee maker and more. There’s also an outdoor grill and a green terrace. The place is quiet, clean and thoughtfully designed, with attention to detail. Eleni is welcoming and helpful. One of the island’s best choices for quality, price and location.

Keep in mind you’ll need a car to get here, but don’t hesitate to book. Mrs. Eleni is consistently kind, and the house is spotless, fully equipped and wonderful. A paradise on earth. Many thanks from George, Maria and Menelaos, and we’ll definitely see you again.

The cottage was small but cozy, in a really quiet spot, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean, and the hostess was very friendly. We felt at home and would love to come back.
