Villa Rodanthos

The people were always polite and helpful, and we really enjoyed relaxing in the roof garden and on the balcony. My friends and I have visited Villa Rodanthos twice during our trip to Athens. It’s a beautiful, clean hotel with lovely decor. We also liked having kitchenettes in the rooms, so we could sometimes use them. I’ll definitely go back soon!

We liked being able to leave our luggage at reception until later in the evening, and it was a decent place to stay. Even so, we had no hot water for most of our visit, and on the second day we had no power to charge our phones. The fridge was so noisy that we had to unplug it to sleep. The rooms and bathroom felt quite dated, and half the power sockets didn’t work. We enjoyed our stay despite those problems, and managed to visit Moni Island even with the rainy days.

This gem is set back from the main road, so it’s quiet but still easy to get to. The amenities are excellent, and the owner was even better. They gave us a lift into town and good recommendations for the area. The shop is easy to reach, and the balcony is quiet with a nice view.

We’ve stayed here three times already, and I really hope we’ll be back next year. The owner, Demtra, is lovely and very helpful. These are great apartments in the lovely little village of Perdika, just a five minute walk from the village beach, restaurants, and harbour. From there you can catch the boat to Moni island or the bus to Aegina town. The roof terrace has fantastic views, and it’s a great spot to watch the sunset or look at the stars at night. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.
