Everything we needed was in the apartment, which worked perfectly for either a short or a longer stay. The beach is just a few meters from the building entrance, and there’s an elevator so you don’t have to use the stairs.

The seafront location and renovated bathroom were good, but the apartment fell short for the price. The kitchen sink smelled awful, and even airing the place out didn’t get rid of it. Furniture and doors were very worn, the sofa sagged, there was mold on the balcony door, and the kitchen wasn’t especially clean. What bothered me most was how the landlady handled criticism. My wife left a polite, honest review, and instead of discussing the problems, the landlady made personal insinuations and false claims about how we’d left the apartment. That didn’t feel professional or hospitable. It’s a shame, because with more care and better communication this could be a pleasant place. As it is, I wouldn’t recommend it.

We ended up here as a replacement because our original booking became unavailable at short notice, which wasn’t a problem for us by itself. The location right by the sea, the space, parking, and the fairly recently renovated, clean bathroom were all positives. But the kitchen sink gave off a terrible sewage-like smell that lingered even after we aired the apartment out for a long time. The rest of the furnishings and cleanliness were disappointing too. The sofa was very worn, the doors and furniture were in poor shape, there was mold on the bedroom balcony door, and some kitchen items weren’t properly clean. Nothing like sugar, coffee, oil, or spices was provided, though many places do include those basics. We just didn’t feel comfortable and left disappointed.

There’s lots of space and everything was OK, with good value for money. The sofa was worn, though, and the place could use a little more care and cleanliness. No more than that.
