The garden even has lemons for fresh lemonade or cocktails, and the barbecue spot became our favourite place for dinner and a glass of wine late into the evening. We had everything we needed at Villa Gallini, where we stayed for nine nights and enjoyed ten lovely days. The villa is amazing, in a beautiful part of Nydri that’s quiet and private. We loved every minute and hope to return one day.

The drive up is a little tricky, but the effort pays off. We had a wonderful week, with dreamy scenery and very good conditions.

There are shops, restaurants, and beaches nearby, and the centre of Nidri is about a 20-minute walk away. The villa is excellent and has everything you need for up to six people to relax. The pool is beautiful, with a view of the sea. The only small downside is the hill you need to climb to reach the villa, though it’s no trouble by car.
