One of my favourite moments was breakfast on the terrace, with the scenery all around, and the pool was a lovely place to relax after a day out. Villa Maria is just a short walk from the charming town of Nydri, with its restaurants and shops. The hosts were warm and attentive, and always available with local tips. The villa was beautifully designed, with wonderful views of the landscape and sea. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and well equipped, with all the comforts needed for a relaxing break. It was an unforgettable stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Lefkada.

The villa is very clean and fully equipped, and the manager is friendly and attentive. He does tend to stop by several times a day for a chat, though. The villas are beautiful, but privacy is limited: to get to the road you pass through each other’s gardens, and even though there’s a low fence between neighbors, you can see one another from the pool.

We came with our 17-month-old son, and the villa was child-friendly. It was clean, fully equipped, and had lovely sea views. The hosts were welcoming and discreet, and did everything they could to make the stay pleasant. The quiet, peaceful setting is about a 15-minute walk from the centre of Nydri. We highly recommend it.

Everything about the stay was very good, especially the hospitality of the host’s father. He was such a lovely man and made our holiday all the better. Maria, please pass on our greetings. I hope he’s doing well and staying healthy, and that he keeps making other people happy too. As they say, it’s the people who make a place special.
