Pessada Bay Studios and Apartments

For around £300 for a week in mid September, this felt like a real bargain. Our top-floor studio had a sea view, a huge bed, an ensuite bathroom, and a handy little kitchen with a fridge freezer, hob, coffee machine, and kettle. Everything was immaculate, and the pool and sunbeds were lovely and quiet. There aren’t any good restaurants within walking distance, but we were happy to drive out and explore. We found lots of restaurants rated 4* about 10-15 minutes away by car. Thanks so much for having us!

The pool and outdoor spaces were a lovely place to unwind and take in the landscape. Our room was cleaned every day, and there was plenty of spacious parking. We stayed five nights, and the renovated rooms were in great shape, including the less expensive, smaller ones. We’d definitely come back to Passada Bay Studios on another trip to Kefalonia.

We stayed two nights while waiting for the ferry, outside peak season, so it was peaceful. It’s a convenient spot for the Zakynthos ferry and about 12 kilometres from town. The rooms have good mattresses and useful kitchenette supplies, with views of the trees and occasional glimpses of the Ionian. Pine trees surround the property, with room to breathe instead of walls crowding in, and there’s a cafe area by the pool. The young couple hosting us were absolute sweethearts and did everything they could to make us comfortable.

The studio was spotless, had everything we needed, and was cleaned regularly. We spent two weeks here and had a lovely stay. It is a little remote, but buses are available, and Kounadis recommended a great taxi driver. He was attentive and helpful throughout, with clear arrival instructions even though we got in during the middle of the night. He was always ready to answer questions, and his recommendations were good. Thanks for a great stay!
