I was disappointed by how the bed request was handled. I booked through Lytras travel for two separate beds, but the room had one main bed, with two couchlettes. When I complained, they said the beds could be separated, which wasn’t true. It was easy to see from the p.c. that the room didn’t have two separate beds. That felt unprofessional and sad as service. There were some good points: the beach was beautiful, big, clean and well organized, and the buffet had lots of fresh, well-cooked choices, including main dishes and sweets like ice cream. The coffee was good. I would have preferred better-quality wine, but it was okay. The room itself was fine and looked out to sea, but the bathroom towels smelled bad, and water nearly filled the shower floor, so I had to watch where I stepped.
Travelling with our 1 yr old was easy because the staff were always ready to help. Mr George especially made our baby smile whenever he was around. The place was clean and comfortable, and we felt looked after. It had a lovely, homely atmosphere. Thank you for a really nice stay.
The staff across reception and the rest of the hotel worked tirelessly to give guests a good holiday, and we’ve often been to Greece without being let down. The food was nicely prepared and varied, especially the Greek desserts. Local beer was on tap for self-service at a few spots, and they made nice cocktails. We chose a swim-up room for the full experience, but the front riverside rooms were far too close to the kids’ pool and noisy. For the high premium, it was odd that they came without robes or slippers. The all-inclusive bar setup was confusing. The main bar near reception had the only comfortable seating but wasn’t included, and the beachside covered bar was pay-as-you-go too. The pool bar and small bar downstairs near the fine-dining area were the only all-inclusive options. The hotel is well maintained and the staff are pleasant and helpful, but the location is between parga and Preveza, about 25 km from each, with little nearby. Whoever designed the place could learn from other top-quality resorts around Greece, having stayed in many.
I’m sharing this on behalf of my grandmother, who can’t post on Google Maps. She and her friends had planned to spend Easter at this hotel, but money was stolen from a friend’s wallet and my grandma’s earrings were taken. I was surprised to find other people describing the same problem. This needs to be reported so others know it could happen during a stay. Simply not recommended.
Getting into the sea was difficult, so water shoes are definitely a good idea. Hotel Ninos itself was nice and clean, and the staff were kind and helpful, which I really appreciated. The Greek evening was a highlight: the staff played traditional instruments and sang, then we all danced together. Greetings to my friends on staff!
